As another Valentine's Day comes and goes, we at A Hand Tailored Suit have completely fallen in love with some more amazing tailored looks worn by stars and celebrities over the last week which we just have to share! Introducing our Top 5 Ladies' Tailored Looks of the Week:
Gal Gadot
Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot whilst promoting her latest "Impact" documentary, was spotted wearing an oversized off-white, woollen double-breasted Wardrobe NYC blazer as styled by celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart. The buttons are a beige colour which works perfectly with the smart/casual vibe of the look. The standard welt and flapped pockets feature on the jacket, along with curved peak lapels that have a soft line. The crisp blue shirt elevates this look to be perfect tailoring inspiration for Spring/Summer: the classical feminine touch to a masculine style.
Lorna Luxe
British influencer Lorna Luxe speaks for many of us with the cold snap and constant snowfall experienced recently, but she was prepared for the weather in this sharp woollen double-breasted black coat. The strong shoulder line and long length of the Chanel coat makes for a dramatic monochrome winter look indeed. The Chanel logo buttons in silver add more dimension to the overcoat to this luxurious tailored winter outfit.
Priyanka Chopra
The classic pinstripe suit is a style we just love at A Hand Tailored Suit and this week, actress Priyanka Chopra was spotted wearing just that. Publishing her new book, she wore a perfectly tailored dark navy pinstripe suit jacket by Re/Done. With a lovely structured shoulder line complimented well with the peak lapels, the jacket also features double jet pockets on either side and a 4-button cuff on the sleeves. Pinstripe always works in the double-breasted tailored form.
Ashley Graham
Model Ashley Graham revealed on her Instagram some of the cover shots for Wall Street Journal Magazine, Spring 2021 issue. Styled by model/stylist Dara, she wears a classic Ralph Lauren tuxedo shirt underneath a black tuxedo jacket. The peak lapels match the satin covered buttons that are placed on a diagonal line, emphasising the powerful impact of this look even more. The jacket features a single-button fastening as the dinner/tuxedo jacket traditionally does, but paired with Balenciaga sweats, the tailored jacket takes smart/casual dress to a great new level.
Vanessa Paradis
With Spring around the corner and pastels creeping into the wardrobes (particularly purple), we end our Top 5 looks of the week with an all-purple Chanel suit worn by French singer Vanessa Paradis during the Victoires de la Musique ceremony. The tweed suit looked like the classic Chanel shape, with the collarless jacket and silver buttons showcasing the luxurious check suit. The A-line skirt with slits adds to the silhouette, subtlety ensuring the skirt was noticeable on top of the 2-piece suit: a gorgeous tailored ensemble.
