Bamboo cloth makes for an incredible choice to make a bespoke suit. Thanks to its glorious shine and luxurious feel, it's a perfect option to consider for a future wedding suit. Our tailoring team had the honour of using such cloth for one of our ladies' suits which, when combined with the vintage-inspired silhouette of the attire, really made for a stunning piece. For our customer, we constructed a four-button cropped bespoke jacket with the matching trousers. The jacket itself featured two angled double jet pockets on the front and short - yet sharp - notch lapels on the front. Four smaller versions of the centre buttons were included on the cuffs for that classic finish, keeping very well in tone of the attire itself. The shoulders featured a subtle rounded shape to them to provide that distinction across the top line.
Inside the olive green suit was a micro paisley purple satin lining to beautifully complement the purple check pattern running through the bamboo silk. Piano lining was the style of choice as double jet pockets were included in the cut and the edging finished in a matching olive green satin, showing the lovely contrast in colours. With a more visible sheen to the satin lining, the bamboo silk was more subtle yet still noticeable to create this elegant attire, certainly noticed in the movement of the trousers. With a pleated front and centre front crease, straight-leg trousers were the silhouette of choice to enhance the vintage suiting shape, one that looked brilliant on our customer during their final fitting!
