No Time To Die - Shaken and Not Stirred - A Hand Tailored Suit

No Time To Die - Shaken and Not Stirred

Greetings Bond.

It seems the past has its ways of catching up to us all, including those you hold very close to you.

The Mission

I know your friend in the CIA, Felix Leiter, has reached out to you regarding the disappearance of a scientist named Valdo Obruchev. You are the only one he can trust and as you know, trust is vital in this line of work. You gave up this line of work to enjoy life away from service, spend it with Madeleine Swann; yet it seems the past has a way of catching up to her. After your chase in Matera, Italy, it appears she has a secret. What does she know, Bond? How is she connected to a man called Safin? How is Valdo's disappearance connected to Safin? Your paths will cross but I warn you, his plans could result in the death of millions. He thinks he is a god. He believes he is making the world a better place. Just as we thought Blofeld's schemes were over, is there any way Safin and Blofeld are connected? What does Blofeld know that we don't? I'd advise a welcome visit to your stepbrother in our custody to be a good place to start.

Your mission: We need all the help we can get to stop Safin and his schemes. If those who are close to you are somehow involved in all this, then I know you will report for duty once more. Don't mess it up.

1) Tailoring

Welcome once more to your beloved tailoring, particularly with this grey two-piece Glen check made with notch lapels and your preferred two-button front with a third buttonhole just at the end of the lapels. Your shoulders are padded, your choice of shirt a crisp white as you accessorise with a navy tie. The folded pocket is just exposed in the welt pocket, and your silver tie clip the shining finishing touch: a Double-0 certainly reporting for duty. You also have a navy two-piece and a sophisticated shawl collar evening suit, but I'll inform who is providing your evening attire further in the brief.

 2) Blue Knit Jumper

Your suiting cannot live up to all field work Bond, so this crew neck ribbed knitted jumper with elbow patches is a very good choice. Underneath you have a white long-sleeved V-neck polo shirt with a small band collar. The accompanying cargo trousers are fully equipped and fully practical as you head into the field once more. Black braces for an extra secure fit are highly recommended.

 3) Tan Corduroy

Tan suiting has been a common choice across your missions Bond, and you have a new choice. It's a two-piece corduroy with relaxed shoulders, notch lapels on the double-vent jacket and a three-button front, worn with a mid-blue button-down shirt and brown tie. The trousers are fitted, and flapped pockets on the jacket ensure the overall attire to be practical but modern.

Encounters

You have been out of the game for a few years Bond. Time to get up to speed with new encounters:

Lyutsifer Safin

Let's ensure you don't encounter him again. His style is muted, possibly opting for a khaki jacket with grey panelling acting as the lapel. Underneath he wears a speckled grey buttoned top, cut in a slight asymmetric form. The collar is sharp but loose around his neck. Note down this feature of Safin: his mask, and it will haunt his enemies.

Nomi

Let me introduce you to MI6's new Double-0. Do not underestimate her. A Double-0 for at least two years, you might meet her wearing a textured white safari-style jacket with the normal shoulder epaulettes, button-down rounded patch pockets and thin single cuffs. The belt has a black buckle, partnering the jacket with a pair of linen beige trousers with a defined sharp centre crease. A strong style for a strong agent.

Paloma

I'm told Felix has arranged for you to meet a fellow CIA agent in Santiago, goes by the name of Paloma. She will be of great help Bond. Meet her at a bar. She will wear a black low-back evening gown with thin cross-over straps and a slit in the dress down the side. You're both to attend an evening event, and she has your evening attire. Don't be late.

Q-Branch

Ah 007, nice to see you are still alive. Now I haven't assigned you any new gadgets...yet. But there are two items that always remain handy: your trusty OMEGA Seamaster 300 and your beloved Aston Martin DB5, but somehow I'm expecting your car to be fixed by Q-Branch...again.
