Paris Fashion Week: Men's, June 2024, Louis Vuitton

The men's Paris Fashion Week takes place biannually for the spring/summer and autumn/winter seasons. This year, it was held between the 18th and 24th of June 2024, showing off designer's spring/summer 2025 collections. Fashion Week features a myriad of presentations from top designers and leading luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme, Loewe, and Issey Miyake.

This year's Men's Fashion Week featured many trends across all the runway shows, including camouflage, floral prints, checks, metallics, double denim, and monochromatic looks.

With Pharell Williams as its creative director, Louis Vuitton opened the Spring/Summer 25 shows in the grounds of UNESCO House. Take a look at the entire runway collection below.

In Vogue, Williams said that the inspiration for the show was the Paris 2024 Olympics and the Euros. The colour palette -blacks, browns, beiges, and white- was a homage to human beings and their diversity. The looks started monochromatically and complemented the models' skin tones. As the show progressed and ended, the colours became blended, or "multicultural", as stated in Vogue. Many of the looks were more casual due to the sporting inspiration, but they were no less luxurious for that. Williams focused on luxury in the (sometimes minute) details. Maps were embedded into tiny buttons, and the Louis Vuitton logo was toned down with subtle embossing or embroidery in the same colour as the underlying fabric. Hand embroidery and beading, very luxurious commodities due to skill and time, were used throughout the collection. Louis Vuitton's famous Damier (check) pattern was also featured heavily but with William's unique twist, and he referenced his first two collections with the use of camouflage. Louis Vuitton's famous bags also appeared, often in unusual shapes (a football, for example) or in micro-mini sizes that verged on the unusable, as well as the more familiar tote bags and luggage.
