When it comes to organising the wedding, the wedding suit for the main ceremony is one of the main factors, deciding on the cut and colour of the attire - and making sure it fits perfectly too! Going bespoke for your wedding is great to ensure everything you wanted in your dream suit comes true; but what about the wedding reception? If you wanted to have another look to change into after the main ceremony, go for it! We created this classic ivory three-piece attire for our customer's wedding reception in the UK and Africa, and here is what went into it.
The full suit was constructed from a gorgeous ivory cloth from the Vitale Barberis Canonico mill in Italy, made into a three-piece attire with the jacket and waistcoat both single-breasted. The jacket itself was made with a double vent on the back and peak lapels on the front. Along with the classic two flapped pockets below the waist, we also added a ticket pocket on the one side which always elevates a bespoke suit quite well. The sleeves were finished with a four-button cuff and the buttons themselves were of a brown horn design, the same that would be featured on the two-button front and waistcoat. The shoulders were rounded for that extra bit of height, whilst also echoing the softness of the suit's texture itself.
With five buttons on the front, the waistcoat was designed with no lapels along the neckline, a choice that works well with how high it sits on the chest itself. With the bottom button left unfastened, it actually showcases the lovely curved edge leading into the sharp point of the hem. Two double jet pockets are positioned on the front of the garment, with side vents and a matching belt on the back for the customer to adjust the fit and comfort. To complement the colours already in the full suit, the lining was a plain champagne gold satin with the welt pocket on the jacket made with the same colour to showcase a little sneak peek into the suit's interior.
