Back in February, on the magical day of 22/2/22, our #AHandTailoredSuit groom Aarisah tied the knot in Dubai! He came to us for a very sharp and stylish wedding attire, which we had the honour of making for his special day. Before we delve into the details of the suit, we would like to send our many congratulations again to the groom!
We begin with the jacket, which was most definitely the statement of the look. Cut from a navy blue camouflage print, we finished the jacket with a wide shawl lapel that would lead into the button fastening of this double-breasted form. Four buttons would feature on the front of the garment with two flapped pockets sitting below, giving our groom the option to style with the flaps on show or tucked into the jets. The welt pocket on the chest would be styled with a crisp folded white pocket square to echo his shirt and link to the contrast trousers quite well. A double vent featured on the back and the cuffs were finished in a classic four-button form.
The trousers were cut in a crisp white with angled pockets on the sides, belt loops on the waistband and thin jet pockets on the back. The silhouette was slim with a slight tapered finish to the hem, which would work very well with his navy loafers the groom would wear on his wedding. With the navy jacket being bold in itself, we finished the inside in a matching white satin lining with the inner pockets also designed in the same way to enhance the boldness of the overall wedding attire. With the groom's shirt cut with a classic collar and a matching navy bow tie made for the occasion, we captured the special date underneath the collar. Monogramming is always a great way to make the wedding suit special day for the day; but also special for the future in maintaining the memories.
