With working from home still being the norm for many and continues to be for a little while longer, loungewear and comfy knits will continue to be popular items to wear; but here is what you could be seeing more of when scrolling through social media and online.
It's All Yellow
With their announcement in December 2020 across social media and their website, yellow is set to be a huge colour this year and, given the current situation across the world, it only seems fitting that a colour which illuminates hope and happiness would be one to look out for this year. We've noticed an increase in popularity for the pastel colours and it's sure set to be a big hit this year. Duck egg blue, ivory and lavender just to name a few shades are set to take over 2021 and be a common palette we see, particularly in weddings. The muted tones are relaxing and gorgeous, what else could you want? Plus, these colours always work extremely well in the world of bespoke tailoring: combining soft colours with sharp tailored lines and crisp finishes on a suit? Statement chic.
Monochrome Magic
As they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and the classic monochrome attire never fails. It acts as the perfect canvas to show off any details on a garment, like a different colour pocket or the buttons on a suit. The example of a classic black suit is very versatile, and with black and white being two of the most easiest colours to style, all you need to do is wear with a yellow accessory and you are showcasing 2021 very well indeed: it's a timeless combination. Oversized Comfort
The trend for oversized clothing has become more popular over recent years, with the concept of sizing up on a blazer to either cinch in with a belt or wear for that relaxed feel has been a go-to for some. Yet, with more of us at home for a little while yet and turning to comfortable clothing, it's safe to say that has been understood as a necessary trend for 2021. As always, the lighter weighted fabrics are a must as the weather gets warmer and for 2021, it appears it'll be very popular. Light cottons, linens and other sheer fabrics are set to float by with impact this year.
