Milan's Men's Fashion Week ran from the 14th to the 17th of June this year. It takes place biannually during the spring/summer and autumn/winter seasons. The June Men's Fashion Week shows off designer's Spring/Summer collections for the following year. Fashion Week features a myriad of presentations from top designers and leading luxury brands, including Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Prada, and Fendi.
This year's Men's Fashion Week featured many trends across all the runway shows, such as the trench coat in a variety of styles, soft purple, lilac, and lavender tones as a palette staple, relaxed everyday tailoring, the leather jacket in different silhouettes and colours, vintage 90-style pieces were prominent, and finally, collegiate style was given a modern twist.
Zegna's new collection was displayed on a sound-stage-like industrial venue with the runway decorated with blades of "linen" made out of delicate strips of metal. Artistic director Alessandro Sartori wanted it to appear as though nature was reclaiming the industrial space. Take a look at the full runway show below.
The Spring/Summer 25 collection was inspired by this "shifting between man and nature", according to Sartori. Many of the garments were made from the sustainable natural fibre linen, and there was a contrast between precisely and sharply tailored pieces, relaxed silhouettes, and an earth-toned palette of terracotta, green, blue, yellow, and beige. Linen is known for its suitability as a summer textile, and the collection pieces reflect summer wear appropriateness. There were silk sets printed with abstract flax plants, pop-collared vests, two-toned polo shirts, button-downs, lightweight jackets, and matching short shorts. Take a closer look at some of the pieces below.
