Now, if you are thinking about ideas for your special wedding suit and are looking for inspiration on what to wear, let us inspire you with a three-piece green flannel suit just like this one: perfect for a wedding, classic in style, modern in colours, and perfect particularly for an Autumn-themed wedding.
Made for one of our customer's weddings, this suit was a dark forest green in colour, contrasted by the striking golden yellow paisley lining inside. The suit jacket was single-breasted in cut with notch lapels and a two-button front, finished with curved flapped pockets either side. The shoulders are finished with a bit of height thanks to the rounded nature of the tops, giving it that extra bit of shape overall. The centre front lines would curve round to the straight hem of the garment, again providing that subtle contrast to the matching single-breasted waistcoat paired underneath.
The waistcoat, with its four-button front and welt pockets near the bottom, was also lined in the same yellow satin paisley cloth as the jacket, making it even more perfect and strong through its cohesion. The jacket's lining was of the piano style, complete with additional jet pockets and two of the dark brown horn buttons. These buttons were included on the flash cuffs, again lined in the yellow satin paisley for that subtle pop of colour. The pocket square on the front would also be matching the lining and the tie too, giving an indication as to how the jacket inside would look.
Along with the full three-piece suit, we also constructed a custom white cotton shirt to go with it, the centre buttons secured with a dark thread to match the theme of the suit. With the soft texture of the flannel, both the lining and shirt would be a great contrast in their textures, providing that extra definition to the overall wedding suit attire that would make it a gorgeous piece to wear for the special day.
