On The Late Late Show with James Corden, James welcomed Rose McIver, Tony Hawk, Yungblud, Trevor Noah, Jake Johnson, David Duchovny, Christina Perri, Maria Bakalova, Stephen Merchant, and Wet Leg. Let's take a look at some of the outfits on the show this week.
James Corden
On the show this week, James dressed in his signature bottle green single-breasted notch lapel suit that he paired with a light blue classic collar shirt and dark blue tie.
Later in the week, he donned another of his signature suits, the dark blue single-breasted with a faint yellow check. He combined it with a spread collar light blue shirt and a dark blue tie to complement the suit.
Tony Hawk and Rose McIver
Tony Hawk is an American professional skateboarder. He is regarded as one of the most influential skateboarders of all time. He pioneered modern vertical skateboarding and is the owner of the skateboard company Birdhouse. He also has a skateboarding video game series named after him. He retired from competing professionally in 2003 and has involved himself in philanthropic endeavours. He set up the Skatepark Project, which builds skateparks in low-income areas internationally.
On the show, Hawk wore a thick structured black shirt with double breast pockets. He wore the shirt unbuttoned at the collar and untucked from the slim-fitting grey chinos that he had paired it. He wore blue socks for a pop of colour and thick-soled black trainers to match the colour of his shirt.
New Zealand actress Rose McIver is best known for her role as Liv Moore in the television series iZombie. Other series she is known for are Woke and Ghosts. She has also appeared in the romantic comedy series of films A Christmas Prince, A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby.
During her interview, Rose wore an eyecatching shiny jewel-toned blue suit with a loose-fitting double-breasted peak lapel jacket and contrastingly slim-fitted trousers. She wore the jacket buttoned up with no top underneath, giving a glimpse of decolletage and cleavage. On her feet, she donned high heeled shiny patent leather red pumps that perfectly complemented her bright red lipstick.
In this clip, Liv discusses her garden and how she scares raccoons away from digging up her plants by playing pentecostal radio on transistors dotted around. Tony talks about his recently broken leg and fractured pelvis and then discusses how he became well known for his hairstyle in the 80s.
David Duchovny and Pablo Schreiber
David Duchovny is an American actor, producer, director and novelist. His most famous roles are Fox Mulder in the iconic television series The X-Files and Hank Moody in Californication. He won Golden Globes for both shows. He also starred in the X-Files spin-off movies, The X-Files and The X-Files: I Want to Believe. He has written four books, Holy Cow: A Modern-Day Dairy Tale, Bucky F*cking Dent, Miss Subways, and Truly Like Lightning.
On the programme, David dressed in a black velvet jacket on top of a black crew neck sweater. He paired them with dark wash denim jeans and tan and yellow trainers. His look was very relaxed and laid back.
Canadian-American actor Pablo Schreiber, brother to Scream actor Liev Schreiber, is best known for his stage acting. However, on television, he can be recognised for his portrayal of Nick Sobotka on The Wire, William Lewis on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Mad Sweeney in American Gods, and George "Pornstache" Mendez on Orange Is the New Black. He received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy for the latter role.
On the show, Pablo donned an unusual suit which was a combination of formal and casual. The sky blue double-breasted peak lapel jacket looked like a usual suit jacket, but he combined it with a low neck ribbed white vest. The matching coloured trousers were more like jogging bottoms with elastic cuffed ankles that came halfway up his calves. He finished the look with a pair of white Vans to match his vest.
In this clip, Duchovny talks about why he pursued an acting career and then discussed his latest film, The Bubble. Pablo shares how he was three hours late for his first day on The Wire and chats about his character's moustache in Orange Is The New Black.
