69th Annual Ballon d'Or Attendee Style 2025
Share
The Ballon d'Or (or 'Golden Ball' in English) is an annual football award that took place this year on the 22nd September. The Ballon d'Or is considered the most prestigious and valuable individual award in football. Coaches, captains, and football journalists vote for who they deem to have been the best-performing male player of the previous football season. Paris Saint-Germain's Ousmane Dembélé became the team's first winner and the sixth Frenchman to accept the prize. Of course, all the nominees, football players, and celebrities of note were out in force at the award ceremony. Let's take a look at the best-dressed attendees.
Ousmane Dembélé
Paris Saint-Germain player and Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembélé arrived at the ceremony in a shiny black tuxedo featuring horseshoe lapels and straight-cut, wide-legged trousers. He eschewed a bow tie with his white dress shirt, creating a more laid-back appearance, and finished his outfit with patent leather shoes and sunglasses.
Lamine Yamal
Barcelona player Lamine Yamal came in second place, walking the red carpet in a gorgeous navy blue, double-breasted suit featuring satin edging around the peak lapels. He kept the look monochromatic, pairing the suit with a matching coloured shirt and bow tie.
Raphinha
Coming in fifth place was Barcelona's Raphinha, who arrived at the awards with his girlfriend and child, wearing a slim-fitting black suit with flap pockets, satin peak lapels, and skinny, tapering trousers. He paired the suit with a traditional white dress shirt featuring black buttons and a black bow tie.
Ronaldinho
Former Ballon d'Or winner and Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho attended the awards in a smart-casual outfit. He donned a black pinstriped, double-breasted suit over a black T-shirt and paired it with black leather trainers with white soles.
Yann Sommer
Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer arrived at the event in a traditional black tuxedo, complete with all the usual features: a one-button closure, jetted pockets, contrasting satin, peak lapels, and tapering trousers. He styled the ensemble with a classic white shirt and black bow tie.

Alisson
Liverpool goalkeeper.
Ruud Gullit
Dutch former footballer.
Kenan Yildiz

Adekunle Gold
Nigerian singer-songwriter.
