We had the honour of creating a classic and dashing tuxedo for our #AHandTailoredSuit groom Richard as he tied the knot to his wife Nicole at Moxhull Hall this month! The newlyweds were married on the 19th August; but before we delve into Richard's wedding suit further, we would like to wish the happy couple a huge congratulations on behalf of the entire tailoring team!

The jacket was a statement piece within a classic ensemble, as Richard donned a classic white dinner jacket with a double vent on the back. With a lovely line across the shoulders, we kept the peak lapels a standard width; but this didn't take away from the sharp finishing points that the contrasting black satin design would portray. The jacket would fasten with the one button (also contrasting and covered in black fabric) whilst the sleeve cuffs were completed with a sleek three-button design. Two flapped pockets were positioned on the front with a welt pocket on the chest that the groom styled with a white pocket square on the main day.
Richard's trousers were slim-cut with a sharp centre crease on the front which simply enhanced the classic sharpness a wedding tuxedo always brings. The hem would sat just over the top of his shoes, causing a subtle break above the ankle. His custom white shirt would be tucked into the trousers as the shirt itself was made with double cuffs and a standard collar style to fix his black bow tie in position. The classic wedding accessory of the boutonnière would be worn on the one peak lapel, whilst underneath his jacket collar, we would embroidery the couple's name and special wedding date underneath: a suit that will withhold the many memories Richard and Nicole would have from their special day.
