We had the pleasure to meet Yemi back in January 2024 we had our first meeting in our Design Studio in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, to design is perfect wedding suit for his magical day on the 5th May 2024
Its been a pleasure to design and make you a stunning suit fit for prince! We went through all the details from styling options to lapel width a one button jacket or two button peaked lapel or shawl lapel, even a notched lapel, down to the length of the jacket and the pockets straight or slanted flapped or flapless, plus the button options and the lining options and special embroidery to make this very special under the collar? I'm keeping that message a secret?
The design jet black butterfly jacquard jacket with black velvet peaked lapel width 3.5" hand stitched finish in a single breasted one button jacket, slanted flapped pockets with black velvet jetting. Plus velvet matching buttons.
The waistcoat a bespoke black mohair VBC from Vitale berberis Canonico perfect for that matt black finish, designed in three button lowcut single breasted waistcoat with matching black trousers again made to fit perfectly. We added a little touch of green inside for the piping and the main lining inside was black paisley to keep the whole outfit smart and classy.
Bespoke white Egyptian Cotton Shirt designed with Semi Cutaway collar. Straight Double cuff French cuffs and a classic plain studded front for white and silver dress studs as seen in the images, the elbow placket has both initials in white O&Y and on the other side we have their wedding date 05.05.24. again in white.
Worn with custom made black VBC Clip on bowtie to set the look off to match the trousers and waistcoat cloth. You both look amazing thank you again for the stunning images and fantastic review. Yemi and Oslyn
