Blue and Green With Envy! Hassan's Wedding Party Attire - A Hand Tailored Suit

Blue and Green With Envy! Hassan's Wedding Party Attire

For Hassan's wedding this year, we had the honour of creating three custom wedding suits for himself and his groomsmen: his father Zahir and his brother Raheem. Whilst the wedding party of 3 would all look smart and dapper for the special occasion, the groom would wear a different colour suit to the other two gentlemen, yet they all were sharp in finish! Before we go into the details of the suits, we would like to wish Hassan many congratulations on his wedding!

The groom himself opted for a navy blue butterfly brocade jacket as part of a three-piece ensemble, of which we also cut his wedding shirt and made a blue cravat to go with it. The jacket was finished with a contrasting shawl collar in velvet, flapped pockets either side and underneath, a cream waistcoat sharply angled to make the ensemble very much a statement. The buttons on the jacket cuffs were designed to pick out this shade, not only for a modern finish but for a distinctive detail that wouldn't go unnoticed on the groom's big day. With slim trousers and metallic buttons on both the jacket and waistcoat, the groom looked very dapper in his final fitting here!

With Hassan wearing blue, his father Zahir (as pictured above) and brother Raheem would wear green for their wedding attire, keeping some similarities in the design. These green three-piece suits would include a contrast velvet shawl lapel also and flapped pockets either side, almost pattern-matching and blending into the patterned green backdrop. The front would be fastened with one button and include four buttons on the cuffs, whilst the welt pocket on the chest would have a matching yellow pocket square to the inner lining.

As both gentlemen would wear custom shirts too, so would they were accompanying dark green and matching waistcoats to the jackets. It would be constructed without a lapel to keep the neckline smooth and also convey the depth of which it falls on the chest. The silhouette would be single-breasted with a four-button front and two tall jet pockets, along with a sharp yet subtle notched hem along the bottom line. The back would be formed of a black cloth and for the groomsmen, they would sport black bow ties to complete their attires.

Once again Hassan, it was an honour to create your wedding suit along with your brother's and father's! Congratulations to you, you all looked fantastic!
