Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's Black Tie Wedding - A Hand Tailored Suit

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's Black Tie Wedding

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Peltz Beckham!

On Saturday 9th April 2022, many famous faces gathered to Palm Beach in Florida to witness the wedding of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz at her family home. It was a wedding that was ever so grand yet elegant, finished with the refined luxuries of a black tie wedding whilst keeping it quite classic too. They looked absolutely incredible on their special day and a many congratulations to the couple!

Of course with any wedding, the garments and outfits were serious talking points from the ceremony. The groom Brooklyn was kitted out in full Dior, sporting a white tie and black evening tailcoat that was designed with a six-button front and serious sharp angles down the centre front. The peak lapels and collar were constructed in a contrasting silk/satin cloth with a subtle sheen that was perfect for such an occasion: grand but not over the top. In his welt pocket of the tailcoat was a folded white pocket square to partner his white shirt and low-scooped waistcoat. The front of the coat had a slightly higher hemline to allow the waistcoat's hem to act as a bold border, the metal chain styled across the centre bringing that luxury yet modest touch to the attire. His trousers were slim and cut to just above the shoe for a sleek finish.

The bride Nicola Peltz, wore a Valentino bridal gown, whose simplicity in cut when partnered with the finer details and embellishment was simply stunning. There was a certain vintage glamour to the gown as it was cut with a straight line across the top and slightly wide straps up over the shoulders. The bodice was fitted to the waist as the gown then softly draped down to the floor in a column silhouette. From the waist draped a dramatic long fabric train which would act as a backdrop for the tulle wedding veil that was even longer and wider. The edging was finished with a scalloped lace edge with a few elements dotted above the edge for such a simplistic finish. The veil draped down the sides and naturally folded to create extra folds and extra texture, the closeness of the lace detailing balanced out through her matching lace full-length gloves.

From the bride to father of the bride, businessman Nelson Peltz was smartly dressed in a black tuxedo of a single-breasted cut. With a one-button front and a soft rounded edge above the hem, the jacket was also completed with a narrow shawl collar and thin pockets just below the waist. The welt pocket was left as is without a pocket square for a sleek style, whilst his formal shirt aided in this sleek attire thanks to the a covered button placket down the centre. The black tie theme of the wedding continued through the black bow tie, whilst his trousers finished just below the tops of the shoes and were a relaxed fit.

The parents of the groom, Victoria and David Beckham, were also dressed up for the sophisticated black tie wedding, with designer Victoria wearing a spaghetti strap silver dress. The gown was floor length and cut with a V-neck on the top whilst embellished with darker silver lace across the line and down the sides of the bodice. The shine and movement of the cloth created a statement fluid illusion to the gown, the sheen mirrored through former footballer David Beckham's peak lapels. His two-piece was also a Dior fit, fastened with the single-button front and cut with flapped pockets below the waist. The shoulders were well-tailored and his shirt was a winged collar style, showing off more of his bow tie. The cuffs were finished with three buttons either side and the trousers were cut with a subtle creased front whilst finishing on the shoe.

Just like their father, the brothers of the groom, Cruz (back left) and Romeo (centre back) both wore two-piece Dior tuxedos with peak lapels and a one-button front. The trousers were slim and the cuffs of the shirts slightly on show through the ends of their jackets. A closer look at Romeo's wedding shirt (pictured above) shows the dress shirts featuring a centre panel whist the rest of the white shirts had a slightly sheer finish to it. The cuffs matched the panel, showing the shirt itself to be fastened on this part with small metallic studs/ Black bow ties were worn around their winged collars too and all together, the four Beckham's made for a dapper wedding party indeed.

Once again, a massive congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Peltz Beckham!
