At A Hand Tailored Suit Birmingham, we had the distinct pleasure of designing a comprehensive sartorial wardrobe for Groom Anees and his family, traveling into our studio from Worcester and Leicester.
The Event, Venue, and Aesthetic
Date: First week of April 2026
Venue: The Telford Excellency
Theme & Style: Evening Function | Black Tie Inspired
Color Palette: Warm Creams, Soft Beige's, Classic Navies, and Pastel Pink Accents
Fitting Schedule: Initial design finalized late February 2026, leading to the first fitting on March 15th, 2026.
Groom Anees: The Master Wardrobe
To honor both traditional elegance and modern tailoring, Anees chose a striking two-look wardrobe designed for maximum impact.
Look 1: The Bespoke Three-Piece Suit
Fabric: Beige Pure Wool matched across jacket, waistcoat, and trousers.
Jacket Design: Single-breasted (SB1) cut with dramatic 3.75" hand-stitched peak lapels, slanted flapped pockets, double vents, and a framed inner lining structure in Rose Gold (194) with Silk Pastel Pink piping.
Waistcoat: Double-breasted 3x3 layout featuring a V-neck, flat base, self-fabric back, and plain cloth-matched adjusters.
Shirt & Accessories: Crisp white Egyptian cotton shirt with a semi-cutaway collar and double cuffs, complemented by a pure silk pastel pink tie.
Trouser Detail: Clean, flat-front trousers fitted with both belt loops and side adjusters, cross pockets, brace buttons, and a plain hem finished for loafer footwear.
Look 2: The Modern Custom Sherwani
Fabric & Design: Intricate Jacquard print styled into a 6-button single-breasted Sherwani (SB6) with a raised 2.5" Nero collar.
Interior & Details: Fully framed Paisley lining, custom buttons, double vents, and a custom date embroidered inside.
Trousers: Clean white trousers featuring a hybrid drawstring and adjuster waistband, cut to a 42" front / 41.5" back length.
