Elevating the Groom: A 6ft 6 Masterpiece for a Zimbabwe Destination Wedding

When you stand at 6ft 6, a standard "off-the-rack" suit simply won't do. For a height this commanding, the tailoring must be architectural—perfectly balanced to celebrate the stature while ensuring every proportion is spot on.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Panashe Nyachiya into our Birmingham Jewellery Quarter studio to design a bespoke wardrobe for his upcoming wedding to Noella. With their "forever" starting on August 16, 2025, at the breathtaking Umwinzii venue in Harare, Zimbabwe, the attire needed to be nothing short of spectacular.

Look 1: The Showstopper 3-Piece Wedding Suit

For the main ceremony, Panashe opted for a design that balances classic elegance with personalized flair.

• The Jacket: A stunning white patterned fabric featuring a 3.5" black velvet shawl lapel. The contrast is bold and sophisticated, featuring slanted flapped pockets with contrast detailing and covered cuff buttons.
• The Waistcoat: A Jett Black double-breasted 3x3 horseshoe scoop with a matching shawl lapel. This deep scoop is a fantastic choice for taller men, as it elongates the torso while showcasing the bespoke shirt and tie.
• The Trousers: Sharp, Jett Black trousers with belt loops, side adjusters, and brace buttons for a flawless fit, crafted from world-renowned Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC) cloth.

• Look 2: The Velvet Reception Jacket
• For the evening festivities, Panashe is switching into a luxurious Jett Black Velvet jacket.
• The Detail: This jacket features a 3" contrast jacquard/textured shawl lapel and a vibrant small blue paisley lining with baby blue piping.

• The Finishing Touches: Bespoke Shirt & Accessories
• A suit is only as good as the foundation it sits on. We designed a crisp white bespoke shirt with a semi-cutaway collar and curved double cuffs. To make it truly his, the cuffs are embroidered with "P&N".
• To tie it all together, the look is completed with a custom bowtie and an ivory and gold button set (BA20236) that adds a regal touch to the ensemble.
