When Charlotte and Bethany came to visit us at our Birmingham City Centre showroom in the historic Jewellery Quarter at 95 Spencer Street, they had a spectacular vision. Traveling in from Worcester, they were planning an intimate, breathtaking elopement on March 31st, 2026.
Their venue? None other than the rugged, mist-shrouded 7 Best Waterfalls in the Isle of Skye, Scotland.
To stand against the epic backdrop of the Scottish Highlands, a standard off-the-rack suit simply wouldn’t do. They needed garments that were robust enough to handle the elements, exquisitely tailored to their individual styles, and deeply personal. To anchor the entire family's look, we selected a magnificent, heavyweight S430 8335/07 100% Pure Wool Tweed (430 Grams). Ideal for the crisp end-of-march Scottish winds, this rich fabric provided the perfect textural contrast to the cascading waters of Skye. To tie the family together, every single member—including the little one and the family pup—wore matching tweed.

Charlotte opted for a bold, modern twist on traditional tailoring, pairing a structured jacket with bespoke tweed shorts.

Bethany chose a sharp, sophisticated three-piece-inspired aesthetic focusing on a strong waistcoat and trouser combination.

No family elopement is complete without the family dogs! We crafted one bespoke dog coat in the matching 430g tweed, alongside a matching tweed doggy bowtie to ensure the pups were just as dapper as their owners.

Charlotte and Bethany chose to immortalize their love story by embroidering the exact geographic coordinates of their Isle of Skye ceremony location directly into their garments:

Every great bespoke suit begins with a single step. For this beautiful family, that journey started with their first design and measurement appointment on September 30th, 2025, right here in Birmingham. Over the months, our tailors meticulously cut, stitched, and pressed each piece to ensure a flawless drape and impeccable comfort for their March nuptials.
As they stepped out onto the volcanic rocks of Skye, framed by roaring waterfalls and ancient mountains, they didn't just wear suits—they wore a testament to their journey, their style, and their future together.
