Gabriel: The Rising Star Chef in Paris! - A Hand Tailored Suit

Gabriel: The Rising Star Chef in Paris!

He's the upcoming and rising star chef in the city of Paris and thanks to investment from Antoine, Gabriel (played by Lucas Bravo) is soon to be the head chef of his own restaurant. However, those who remember the end of season 1, he is also caught up in a love triangle - and season 2 definitely shows him to figure it out whilst ensuring the opening of his restaurant goes perfect, all whilst looking calm and casual in his wardrobe.

In this scene in episode 3, Gabriel is off-duty in the kitchen; but his culinary expertise continues always as he helps Emily find some delicious ingredients for her birthday dinner. His style is once more, calm and minimal as he wears a pair of denim blue jeans styled with a plain white crew neck t-shirt and over the top, a light blue casual jacket. The collar and cuffs are ribbed for extra texture and the sleeve seams on the back are also noticeable, adding a little more definition to this simple piece with a zip fastening.

Gabriel's love for casual jackets continues when he heads to meet Camille at her art gallery in episode 4 and this outfit definitely pops. By wearing a black shirt and trousers for that monochrome look, he makes the green jacket be the statement piece. The cuffs are a darker shade of green for extra definition as the jacket itself features two large button-down patch pockets and a classic shirt collar. Finished with a metal zip fastening down the centre front, the jacket looks dapper styled unfastened.

Episode 5 is where the marketing discussions regarding Gabriel's restaurant get serious which, for the occasion, Gabriel switches up his casual jackets for a more refined smart blazer. It's a brown/pink colour blend designed with notch lapels and double-breasted in the cut. With a classic welt pocket near the top, the chef tones the smartness of the jacket down by wearing an ivory crew neck shirt underneath. He means business but is also showing his calm approach towards what is a huge career moment for himself.

His sartorial style is definitely established as minimal yet smart as his outfit in episode 9 shows. Whilst attending a perfume marketing event for Antoine's company, Gabriel sports a rather cool look wearing a black short-sleeved polo top tucked into a pair of brown tapered trousers. As the image above shows, the hem rises but to a cool length to show off his boots, accessorising also with a black belt on the trouser waist.

We reach the final episode of the series and Gabriel - along with Emily and Alfie - are watching Mindy perform with her band in a restaurant. They are all dressed up for the occasion and Gabriel maintains his cool, smart approach to sartorial dressing by wearing a forest green textured blazer paired with a formal ivory button shirt. Peak lapels are the choice on the jacket so as to match the slightly more formal dress code, along with four-button cuffs on the sleeves and the shirt cuffs slightly longer so as to be on show. The shirt collar is standard and the hint of a patch breast pocket can also be spotted in his attire for this scene. It's an outfit that definitely portrays his style: cool, calm and minimal with a dash of smart tailoring thrown in when required. (Make sure to keep an eye out for his double-breasted blazer attire in episode 3 during Emily's birthday dinner!)

His wardrobe is the very definition of cool and casual, but Gabriel knows when to add a bit more formality to the dress when needed. We can't wait to see what sartorial outfits will be worn during seasons 3 and 4!
