GQ's annual Men of the Year awards reached twenty-five years old this year. Held at London's Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in association with BOSS, the event celebrated men and women of style, politics, entertainment and sport. Of course, the celebrities dressed to the nines; below are just a few women's looks that caught our eye.
Sydney Sweeny
American actress Sydney Sweeney, known for Euphoria and The White Lotus, wowed on the red carpet in a LaQuan Smith custom design. The black dress featured a turtleneck neckline, asymmetric long sleeve, a long black train and the standout piece; a silver armoured breastplate seemingly moulded to fit her body perfectly. The actress accessorised the look with silver jewellery and eyeshadow to compliment her dress' unusual bodice.
Sabrina Elba
Model Sabrina, Idris Elba's wife, looked stunning at the event in black velvet Gucci. The daring look featured wide-legged, high-waisted trousers. The trousers were held in place and covered Sabrina's modesty with large velvet straps attached by white and silver art deco-inspired buttons echoed on the pockets. Black elbow-length lace gloves, diamante embellished strappy high heels, and a white jewelled choker tied the outfit together.
Jourdan Dunn
British model Jourdan Dunn sported a mismatched Boss suit in cream and white. The oversized cream jacket featured padded shoulders for structure, a slim shawl lapel and straight jetted pockets, fastening at her navel with a single gold button. The high-waisted trousers were wide-legged and floor-length. A flowy feel balanced the masculine style of the large jacket and loose pants, as did a pair of white pointed stiletto heels.
Emma D'Arcy
House of the Dragon actress Emma D'Arcy showed up to the red carpet with a Matrix-inspired outfit by Alexander McQueen. They wore a black leather bomber jacket, matching wide-legged pants with black metal-capped boots, and a bag detailed with silver chainmail to compliment the silver hardware of their coat and waist-cinching belt.
