Wedding season 2022 has been thriving and for our #AHandTailoredSuit groom Jag, it was time for his Wolverhampton wedding this month! Before we delve into his suit, we are sending many congratulations to you Jag and your wife on what looked to be an amazing day for you all! You both looked fantastic and you definitely looked sartorially sharp!
We begin with the jacket of his three-piece wedding attire. For the ceremony, Jag opted for a lovely dark green botanical-inspired printed cloth with a subtle sheen, guaranteed to capture the light in a casual, yet definitive way. It was designed with a contrasting black velvet peak lapels which sit quite tall. This really enhances the modern cut of the collar, particularly showing how sharp the corners are at the bottom of the lapel before angling gently to the centre front and fastening. To echo the velvet collar, further velvet details were including with the front button and cuffs, along with the pocket jets making the pockets themselves be quite defined. The welt pocket was styled with a champagne gold pocket square whilst the jacket was lined in a striking white satin paisley.
Unlike his green jacket, Jag's trousers were cut from a plain black cloth that featured belt adjusters on the waistband and belt loops. The fastening would be a zip fly and metal hooks, whilst the pockets embedded into the construction included thin double jets on the back and cross pockets down the sides. The silhouette of them were slim, almost giving a tapered look to them whilst the centre creases down the front continued to deliver the sharpness of the overall attire. What was great about Jag's wedding suit was that he could match the trousers of the jacket to his waistcoat, or should we say, waistcoats?
Both waistcoats were cut in the same shape and style: a double-breasted front with a modern angled front line, fastened with six velvet buttons and a scooped neckline with peak lapels. They both also featured thin double jet pockets on the front and the tall notched hem worked exceptionally well with the overall vibe of Jag's wedding suit. Black paisley satin lining also featured in both waistcoats with a small notch on the sides to deliver extra comfort too. Whilst also having the option of sporting a black or matching green bow tie, it was the best of both world's for the groom!
Jag, thank you for forwarding over this lovely image from the day, along with a lovely review! The team were honoured to be a part of your day in making your eye-catching suit!
