Jimmy Kimmel Live! Weekly Highlights, 3-6 September 2024

This week on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy welcomed Billie Eilish, Adam Kinzinger, Vance Joy, Peter Dinklage, John Legend, Brian Tyree Henry, Muni Long, Kumail Nanjiani, U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, and Rex Orange County. Let's look at some of the outfits on this week's show.

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish is an American singer and songwriter. She has released three studio albums and thirty-four singles. She has sold over five million albums and forty-five million digital singles. Her best-known songs are "Bad Guy", "Everything I Wanted", "My Future", "Therefore I Am", "Your Power", and "What Was I Made For?". Eilish has won nine Grammy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and two Oscars for Best Original Song for the James Bond film No Time to Die and the Barbie movie song "What Was I Made For?".

On the show, Billie dressed in her signature street style. She wore an oversized graphic white T-shirt, slouchy and baggy 90s-style jeans, and brown suede ankle boots. She finished the outfit with a long, skinny, dark blue scarf that she knotted like a tie.

In this clip, Billie talks about her upcoming tour and her latest album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft", and she shares a previously unseen clip of her and Finnes working on "Birds of a Feather".

Peter Dinklage

American actor Peter Dinklage is most famous for portraying Tyrion Lannister in the television series Game of Thrones. He has also appeared or starred in many films, including Elf, Death at a Funeral, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Avengers: Infinity War, My Dinner with Hervé, and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.

During his interview, Peter donned a single-breasted, slim-fitting black suit with notch lapels. He kept it casual by pairing it with a black T-shirt and a plain black baseball cap.

This clip shows Peter chatting about shaving off his beard, his new movie The Thicket, working with Metallica's James Hetfield in the film, and trying to get stories out of Al Pacino.

Kumail Nanjiani

Kumail Nanjiani is a Pakistani-American actor and stand-up comedian known for playing Dinesh in the television series Silicon Valley, for starring in and co-writing the comedy film The Big Sick, and as Kingo in the Marvel Studios superhero film Eternals. He has also starred in the series Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Boys, and Welcome to Chippendales.

On the programme, Kumail looked smart in a baby blue single-breasted, slim-fitting suit with notch lapels and straight-cut trousers. He combined it with a pale grey polo shirt and pointed-toe brown shoes. He accessorised with a complementary grey-strapped watch.

In this clip, Kumail discusses watching the Olympics in Paris and jokes about the amount of faeces in the Seine. He then talks about working with Steve Martin and Martin Short on Only Murders in the Building and his new comedy tour, Doing This Again.
