Jimmy Kimmel Live! Weekly Highlights 30 October - 3 November 2023

This week on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Jimmy welcomed Sean "Diddy" Combs, Pete Holmes, Jessie Murph and Jelly Roll, Marisa Tomei, John Wilson, Madison Beer, Octavia Spencer, Mike Birbiglia, Devon Gilfillian, Mariah Carey, Alex Edelman, and Devon Gilfillian. Let's take a look at some of the outfits from this week's show.

Marisa Tomei

Marisa Tomei is an American actress known for winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the film My Cousin Vinny. She also played May Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, from Captain America: Civil War in 2016 to Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021. Tomei's other notable movies include Chaplin, What Women Want, The Ides of March, Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Big Short, and The King of Staten Island. 

On the show, Marisa dressed up for her appearance on Halloween in a black top and ankle-length skirt decorated with chains and pearls in the shape of a skeleton. Jimmy wore his black suit and black tie with a thin white stripe.

Octavia Spencer 

American actress and producer Octavia Spencer is possibly most famous for winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in The Help. She has starred in many other successful films, particularly Hidden Figures, The Shape of Water, Get on Up, Gifted, Luce, Ma, Onward, and Spirited. Spencer has also created a book series called Randi Rhodes, Ninja Detective that has two books in the series so far: The Case of the Time-Capsule Bandit and The Sweetest Heist in History.

During her interview, Octavia looked stunning in a sparkly bronze leopard print jacket, v-necked silk top, and wide-legged black trousers. She accessorised with gold jewellery and wore her hair in loose waves. Jimmy wore his midnight blue suit and a white, black, and blue striped tie. 

This clip shows Octavia talking about Halloween costumes and sweets and her love of True Crime. She then performed a popular TikTok challenge. 

Mariah Carey 

Mariah Carey is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. She is known for her five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing, and use of the whistle register, the highest register the human voice can produce. Arguably, her most famous song is the 1994 "All I Want for Christmas Is You". It is the best-selling Christmas song by a female artist and has led to Carey being dubbed the "Queen of Christmas". Other popular songs include "Honey", "Hero", "Touch My Body", "Fantasy", and "Always Be My Baby". Carey has released fifteen studio albums and sold over two hundred and twenty million records worldwide. As an actress, Carey has starred in many films, such as Glitter, Tennessee, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, Precious, The Butler, and The Lego Batman Movie. She has won multiple awards, including five Grammy Awards and twelve Guinness World Records. 

On the programme, Mariah sparkled in a black sequinned mini-dress edged in gold sequins along the neckline, hem, and faux button placket. She draped a plain black jacket over her shoulders and finished the look with a diamond necklace, matching bracelets, and silver platform shoes. Jimmy donned his midnight blue suit again, this time pairing it with a grey and blue striped tie.

In this clip, Mariah reveals her love of making prank calls, talks about "All I Want for Christmas is You" being #1 every year, discusses her "Merry Christmas One & All" tour, and many other things.
