Jimmy Kimmel Live! Weekly Highlights 6 - 10 November 2023

This week on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Jimmy welcomed Magic Johnson, Chef José Andrés, Jordan Davis, Patrick Dempsey, Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett and Tommy Vietor, Saint Harison, Blake Shelton, Luke Grimes, Jelly Roll, Daniel Ricciardo, and Lauren Daigle. Let's take a look at some of the outfits from this week's show.

Magic Johnson

Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr is an American businessman and former professional basketball player. He was a part of the 1992 gold medal-winning United States men's Olympic basketball team in Barcelona. After Johnson left the NBA, he formed the Magic Johnson All-Stars and travelled around the world playing exhibition games. In 1996, he was honoured as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Johnson is now an advocate for HIV/AIDS prevention and safe sex, an entrepreneur, philanthropist, broadcaster, and motivational speaker. He is a co-founder of Guggenheim Baseball Management, which manages the Los Angeles Dodgers and owns shares in the Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles FC, and the Washington Commanders. 

On the show, Magic looked dapper in a dark grey pinstripe double-breasted suit with slim-fitting straight-cut trousers. The jacket featured padded shoulders, flap pockets, and peak lapels. He matched his pocket square to his white shirt and donned a grey and white polka dot tie. Jimmy wore his grey suit, white shirt, and multicoloured striped tie.  

In this clip, Magic chats about many subjects, including going on tour with Michael Jackson, going to dinner with Michael Jordan, and Forbes naming him a billionaire.

Patrick Dempsey

American actor Patrick Dempsey is best known as Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd in the drama series Grey's Anatomy. He has starred in many successful films, including Scream 3, Sweet Home Alabama, Enchanted, Made of Honor, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Bridget Jones's Baby, Disenchanted, and Ferrari. Dempsey was named People's Sexiest Man Alive in 2023.

During his interview, Patrick dressed sharply in a midnight blue double-breasted suit with peak lapels. He kept it more casual with a white shirt unbuttoned at the collar and no tie. Jimmy wore his black suit, white shirt, and a candy cane-reminiscent tie of red and white stripes. 

This clip shows Patrick joking about being named People's Sexiest Man Alive 2023. He talks about racing in The Carrera Panamericana Race and creating a cancer foundation called the Dempsey Center in honour of his mum.

Luke Grimes

Luke Grimes is an American actor and musician most recognised for playing Christian Grey's brother Elliot in the Fifty Shades film series. He also played Marc Alan Lee in the vaunted film American Sniper. Grimes currently stars in the drama series Yellowstone. 

On the programme, Luke dressed in a laid-back outfit of double denim. He wore indigo skinny jeans, an untucked brown shirt unbuttoned at the collar, and a light-wash denim jacket. He finished the look with brown suede boots. Jimmy wore his black suit again, this time pairing it with a navy and sky blue striped tie.

In this clip, Luke discusses the name of his new album, starting his music career, and his song "Burn".
