Thursday 4th August 2022 was to be a very special day for our #AHandTailoredSuit groom Josh, as he and his wife tied the knot in a stunning celebration at The Willow Marsh Farm in the rural setting of the East Midlands! Josh's wedding would have the theme of natural colours throughout the decor and settings, so it was important that we captured that within his wedding attire. To begin, we have the groom's jacket which was designed as a two-button front with noticeable peak lapels, capturing both the formality and joyous nature of the event. On the front of this stone-coloured jacket were two angled flapped pockets which Josh could choose whether he wanted it styled as such or just showing the double pocket jets on the big day. The cuffs were finished in the four-button style with a contrasting buttonhole at the bottom to echo the lining inside.
Just as were included on the jacket's fastening and cuffs, the single-breasted waistcoat was decorated with five dark brown buttons down the front, with the bottom left unfastened for the timeless style and comfort too. As Josh would be wearing his custom shirt with the collar open, the waistcoat neckline sat high on the chest whilst the bottom was cut with a sharp notched hem, leading round to a straight cut on the back. Two double jets and a welt pocket sat on the front, accessorised with a white pocket square to match the striped lining inside. The stone cloth continued from the jacket to the waistcoat front; but the back would be a contrasting detail cut from a plain black cloth to match Josh's trousers. The waistcoat back belt adjuster would be another statement detail in the stone colour, albeit keeping with the elegance of the attire. Below are the trousers cut for the groom's outfit, constructed with belt loops and adjusters on the waistband with a tapered hem and pleated front, all looking classic in its plain black cloth and working well against the stone jacket and waistcoat.
