London Fashion Week February 2025: Burberry

London Fashion Week is the second week of the Autumn/Winter 2025 catwalk calendar after New York Fashion Week earlier in the month. It kicked off on February 20th and ran until February 24th. It will now move to Milan and then Paris. Plenty of up-and-coming designers, along with the more established big names like Paul Costelloe, Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, Simone Rocha, Kent & Curwen, and Burberry, showed off their collections.
Creative director Daniel Lee unveiled Burberry's Autumn/Winter collection at the Tate Britain on Monday, February 24th, closing out Fashion Week. Take a look at the full runway show below.
The inspiration for the latest collection was weekend escapes in the countryside and trips to stately homes. Outerwear, suit fabrics, jumpers, and dresses were designed to emulate the fabric of wall hangings, flocked wallpaper, and tapestries you might see in a country house. Pheasant prints that were cut to mimic feathered trims were also a motif. Of course, the classic Burberry check was in evidence, but subtly in scarves and shirts whose collars and cuffs just peeked out from underneath cosy jumpers.
