Milan Fashion Week is the third week of the Autumn/Winter 2025 catwalk calendar after New York and London Fashion Week. The month-long fashion extravaganza will end in Paris in March. Milan Fashion Week will run from February 25th to March 3rd and will showcase some of the juggernauts of the fashion world, including Versace, Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Armani, and Fendi.
Celebrating one hundred years of Fendi, Silvia Venturini Fendi, granddaughter of the house's founders, designed the Autumn/Winter 25 co-ed collection. It was hosted at the newly renovated headquarters of Fendi, Via Solari HQ, on February 26th. Take a look at the full runway show below.
The central theme of the Autumn/Winter 25 collection was "fur". Fendi has always been known for its luxurious furs, and they brought it back in the form of coats, stoles, and collars using patchwork or intarsia shearling cleverly designed to create the illusion of fox, mink, and sable fur. The looks were opulent without the cruelty of real fur. The 1920s, Fendi's founding decade, was also very visible in flapper slip dresses and Art Deco chevron designs. There were also nods to more recent decades, with 80s pussy-bow collars, the 2010s peplum, and today's obsession with sheer and sequinned fabrics. The colour palette was a mixture of black, grey, brown, and beige neutrals alongside soft colours, including light pinks, deep burgundies, orangey-reds, and mossy greens.
