September marks the beginning of month-long fashion show extravaganzas for spring/summer 2025, starting in New York before moving to London and Milan and finally wrapping up in Paris at the start of October.
Milan Fashion Week started on the 17th of September and will finish on the 23rd of September, 2024. It will feature catwalks and presentations from well-known brands and designers, including Fendi, Boss, Prada, Moschino, Emporio Armani, Gucci, Versace, Bottega Veneta, and Dolce & Gabbana.
Key trends across the runways, like in New York and London, are plenty of bold colours offset by neutral tones, the now seemingly ubiquitous use of sheer fabrics, and a harping back to past decades in fashion history.
Adrian Appiolaza presented the Moschino Spring/Summer 25 collection on a runway hung with clean white laundry. Take a look at the complete collection below.
Models draped in flowing white dresses, reflecting the venue's decorations perfectly, were first out on the catwalk, followed by graphic-printed suits, polka-dotted outfits, and printed sailor uniforms and trenchcoats with faux detailing. Other looks included Moschino's signature oversized lettering featured on T-shirt dresses, smiley face illustrations on accessories, cropped jackets, leather skirts, pearl-decorated tops, dresses, and jackets, flowing maxi-skirts, and plenty of fringing on anything and everything. The collection was an exploration of youth culture, optimism, and exuberant energy. Take a closer look at some of the pieces below.
