Milan Fashion Week, September 2025: Giorgio Armani

Milan Fashion Week will take place between September 23rd and 29th. It follows on from London Fashion Week, which took place last week, and New York Fashion Week, held from September 18th to 22nd. The month-long fashion extravaganza will move on to Paris on September 29th, finally wrapping up on October 7th. September Fashion Weeks are designers' opportunities to showcase their Spring/Summer collections for the upcoming year. This year's top designers at MFW include Diesel, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, and Giorgio Armani.

Giorgio Armani passed away on September 4th 2025, at the age of ninety-one. The brand unveiled the last collection Mr Armani personally designed yesterday, Sunday, September 28th, at the Pinacoteca di Brera museum. The Spring/Summer 2026 collection was a legacy to Mr Armani's sartorial ideals. Take a look at the complete collection in the video below.

The colour palette of neutrals, jewel tones, and softly shimmering metallics was influenced by the landscapes of Milan and Armani's island holiday home, Pantelleria. Beige, sand, coffee, copper, and soft grey tones were displayed on flowing trousers, jackets and separates. Shades of blue, green, and purple were incorporated into sheer blouses and evening gowns. Subtle metallics, sequins, and beads were added to dresses and shawls to add modest shine and light to the garments. Let's take a closer look at some of the pieces from the collection.
