With the surprise cancellation of London Men's Fashion Week this June due to the trend towards co-ed presentations, Men's Fashion Week kicked off in Milan instead. It ran from June 20th to June 24th, showcasing some of the world's most famous fashion houses, including Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Prada, Dunhill, and Ralph Lauren.
Dolce & Gabbana's Spring/Summer 26 collection was titled "Pyjama Boys" and was held at the house's Metropol venue in Central Milan on June 21st. Take a look at the full runway show below.
The theme of the collection was precisely as the "Pyjama Boys" title suggests. It projected visions of lounging around lazily in bed on a Sunday morning with takes on striped cotton pyjama shirts and trousers. The crumpled tailoring was oversized and suggested that the models had rolled out of bed in their clothes, and the jackets over the top were reminiscent of a trip to the corner shop for a forgotten bottle of milk for a morning brew. More sophisticated pyjama sets, for the more organised and put-together lounger, were adorned with crystals or floral embroidery. The colour palette included neutrals like black, cream, and brown mixed with summery pastel hues, including pink, violet, and mint green. There were also pops of pattern - polka dots, leopard print, and tiger stripes. Let's take a closer look at some of the pieces from the collection.
