With the surprise cancellation of London Men's Fashion Week this June due to the trend towards co-ed presentations, Men's Fashion Week kicked off in Milan instead. It ran from June 20th to June 24th, showcasing some of the world's most famous fashion houses, including Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Prada, Dunhill, and Ralph Lauren.
Portuguese designer Miguel Vieira's Spring/Summer 26 collection was displayed at the Fondazione Sozzani in Milan on June 23rd. The show was titled "Garden in the Night". Take a look at the full runway show below.
Miguel Vieira's collection featured a monochromatic black colour palette with a floral 'midnight garden' theme, highlighted by embroidered black beaded camellias, leather calla lilies, and roses. Silver and white accents represented moonlight and shadows. Drape, structure, and the texture of silks, velvets, mesh, and sequins added visual interest rather than colour. It had garments for both men and women, including beautifully tailored suits, flowy, romantic coats, leather-fringed column dresses, and asymmetrically cut pieces.
