Milan Men's Fashion Week, June 2026: Prada
Milan Men's Fashion Week will run from June 19 to 23, showing Spring/summer 2027 collections from Italy's fashion powerhouses, including Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Tod's, and Brioni. Other designers from outside Italy will also showcase their menswear, including Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren, Thom Browne, and Dunhill.
Prada presented their Spring/Summer collection, titled "Clarity", on June 21 in a futuristic set with a clear perspex floor lit with neon strip lights. The collection aimed to rework menswear fundamentals, such as the ubiquitous jean and the simple T-shirt. The idea, according to the designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, was "an exercise in clarity". Take a look at the full runway show below.
The show opened with a unisex look: a pair of cream denim jeans, a matching denim jacket, and a layered black blazer. Following this were reworked versions of this simplest of looks. All the garments were slim-fitting and skinny, and the jeans, T-shirts, and jackets were modified versions in vividly coloured leather, wool, or sheer fabric, showing off their construction. The concept was a refusal of complication or excess ornamentation, aiming to distil menswear to its most essential, intentional elements, without useless design. The colour palette featured primary neutrals, with accent hues of rich burgundy, deep mustard, and green, as well as signature graphic Prada prints. The standard blue denim jean was completely omitted. Let's take a look at some of the pieces.
