New York Fashion Week kicks off the start of a month-long fashion extravaganza, with London and Milan Fashion Weeks following, and Paris Fashion Week rounding off fashion month. New York Fashion Week ran from 11 to 16 February 2026. February fashion weeks are designers’ chance to showcase their designs for the autumn and winter of the upcoming year. This year’s top designers at NYFW included Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Coach, and many more well-known names.
Michael Kors Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 collection celebrated the brand’s 45th anniversary on 12 February at the Metropolitan Opera House, with models walking under glittering chandeliers along the red-carpeted, sweeping, cantilevered stairway. Take a look at the full runway show below.
The collection was titled “New York Chic” and focused on people’s different interpretations of eveningwear, including gowns, suits, shirts and trousers or skirts. Garments combined a mix of sharp tailoring with fluid softness. Standout pieces were puff-ball shearling jackets, relaxed trousers with trailing overskirts, tailored gowns with leather opera gloves, peacoats over high-low hemmed dresses, embroidered cocktail gowns, and cashmere jumper dresses. Ostrich feathers were added to skirts, sleeves, hats, and bags. The colour palette was neutral, black, grey, and camel, punctuated by shades of red, including ruby, raspberry, and wine.
