New York Fashion Week, September 2025: Michael Kors

New York Fashion Week kicked off a month-long extravaganza of runway shows across the world on September 11th. New York Fashion Week ran from September 11th to the 16th. It then moves on to London from September 18th to the 22nd, Milan, and finally, Paris, ending on October 7th. September Fashion Weeks are designers' opportunities to showcase their Spring/Summer collections for the upcoming year. This year's top designers at NYFW include Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Christian Siriano, Todd Snyder, Coach, and many more.

Michael Kors presented his Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Terminal Warehouse in New York's Chelsea neighbourhood. The collection was based on his travels, from Norway to Morocco, and across the USA. Take a look at the whole runway show below. 

The inspiration behind the sunrise and sunset hues, earthy tones, and rustic garments was Sicily, Greece, and Big Sur in California. Pieces included slouchy, safari-like tailoring, khaftan shirts, silk handkerchief dresses, voluminous harem pant sets, and staples such as tanks, bodysuits, and simple, flowy dresses. Fringing was also a staple throughout the collection, seen on jewellery, accessories, and garments alike.
