Paris Men's Fashion Week, June 2025: Saint Laurent
Share
London Men's Fashion Week was cancelled this year, with one of the stated reasons being the trend towards more co-ed presentations. However, Milan Men's Fashion Week still went ahead, running from June 20th to June 24th. Influential design houses, including Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, and Prada, all showcased their latest collections. Men's Fashion Week then moved to Paris for its last week, running from June 24th to June 29th. Many designers displaced from London debuted their collections in Paris alongside the juggernauts of French fashion, including Saint Laurent, Dior, Hermès, and Louis Vuitton.
Creative director Anthony Vaccarello unveiled Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer '26 collection in the rotunda of the Bourse de Commerce art museum on June 24th. The runway wound around an art installation by Céleste Boursier-Mougenot comprising a circular pool filled with floating ceramic bowls that gently clinked together as they moved. Take a look at the full show below.
According to Vaccarello, the collection was calculated to inspire a "suspended moment" between Paris and Fire Island (a barrier island off the shore of Long Island, New York). The garments had an 80s-inspired feel, featuring tailored shorts, tapered trousers with multiple pleats, paper-bag waistlines, shirts with exaggerated shoulders, and exquisite tailoring that could be worn both formally and informally. The colour palette was bright and summery, featuring oranges, yellows, purples, and ochres combined with neutral tones. The materials were similarly summery, lightweight and airy, including silks, cottons, linens, and the ubiquitous sheer fabrics seen on all the runways and red carpets last year. Sheer appears to be a trend that is set to last for a while! Let's take a closer look at some of the pieces from the collection.
