Paris Fashion Week is the culmination of the month-long fashion extravaganza that takes place across New York, London, Milan, and Paris. It kicked off on the 5th of March and ran until the 11th of March. The schedule included runway shows from fashion juggernauts, including Dior, Tom Ford, Balmain, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Balenciaga, and more.
Creative director Nadege Vanhee presented Hermes' Autumn/Winter 25 collection on the 8th of March at the Garde Republicaine. Take a look at the full runway show below.
The collection continued the equestrian inspiration that the brand is known for, with a particular focus on leather. There were leather garments in every form, from wrap skirts, shorts, blazers, quilted waistcoats and shorts, and jackets. Other pieces included pea coats, bomber jackets, knits, and sleeveless dresses paired with long, fingerless gloves. Transformability and flexibility were added to many of the pieces in the form of reversible coats and embedded zips that could be opened or closed to create different cut-out effects. The colour palette was mainly various shades of black, from the deepest to ashy charcoal, with pops of white, brown, beige, and lime green for contrast.
