Paris Fashion Week, March 2026: Balmain

Paris Fashion Week, which runs from 2 to 10 March, wraps up a month-long fashion extravaganza that kicked off in New York at the beginning of February, followed by London and Milan Fashion Weeks. February and March fashion weeks are designers' chance to showcase their collections for the autumn and winter of the upcoming year. This year's top designers at Paris Fashion Week include Dior, Balmain, Tom Ford, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes, Saint Laurent, and many more well-known fashion houses.

Antonin Tron presented his first collection as Balmain's creative director on 4 March. The Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 collection was described as a more pragmatic and everyday vision of glamour. Take a look at the full runway show below.

Balmain was established in 1945, and Tron took the house back to its beginnings, with nods to late-40s style, including draping at the waist, sculpted shoulders, and peplums. There was also leather aplenty, but not in stiff, structural formats, rather in soft, fluid forms, such as mini halterdresses, jumpsuits, jackets, and trousers. The colour palette was quite dark with accents of animal prints in embroidery, fil coupé, and cloqué jacquards. Let's take a closer look at some of the pieces.
