Paris Fashion Week: Men's, June 2024, Loewe

The men's Paris Fashion Week takes place biannually for the spring/summer and autumn/winter seasons. This year, it was held between the 18th and 24th of June 2024, showing off designer's spring/summer 2025 collections. Fashion Week features a myriad of presentations from top designers and leading luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme, Loewe, and Issey Miyake.

This year's Men's Fashion Week featured many trends across all the runway shows, including camouflage, floral prints, checks, metallics, double denim, and monochromatic looks.

Loewe, headed by creative director Jonathan Anderson, closed Fashion Week at La Garde Républicaine. Take a look at the full runway show below.

The runway was scattered with a series of art pieces by Peter Hujar, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Carlo Scarpa, and Paul Thek that inspired the collection. The colour palette was mainly neutral, but the pieces were interesting in their sculptural elements. Biker jackets were turned into capes or given scooped necklines, jackets were given extra long sleeves, and optical illusions abounded; for example, a white top that looked like a cable knit was actually made from a shiny synthetic fabric on closer inspection. Reversible coats and jackets had hidden wire structures that kept their shapes rigid and in place, making them look as if a strong wind was blowing them. There were chain mail and mother-of-pearl tops. However, the collection's standouts were the trousers and pheasant feather headbands that obscured the model's faces. There were harem-style trousers, high-rise pants, asymmetrically pleated waterfall slacks, and much more, including trousers with an impossible-seeming empty space at the waist. Take a look at some of the standout pieces below.
