Paris Fashion Week, September/October 2025: Dior

Paris Fashion Week will run from September 29th to October 7th. It is the culmination of a month-long fashion extravaganza that began in New York, before moving on to London and then Milan. September Fashion Weeks are designers' opportunities to showcase their Spring/Summer collections for the upcoming year. This year's top designers at PFW include Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Balmain, Chanel, and Hermes.

Jonathan Anderson presented his debut womenswear collection as creative director for Dior on October 1st. The Spring/Summer 2026 collection was showcased in a purpose-built space in the Jardin des Tuileries. Take a look at the full runway show below.

The collection drew inspiration from Dior's past through its archives while putting Anderson's unique stamp on the clothes. The nip-waisted Bar jacket, for which Dior is famous, was transformed by a scooped-up front, giving it a look as if it had been tied in a bow. Hourglass dresses were also tied off with bows, and bows featured throughout the collection, with bow ties being worn with complementary shirts and skirts. Another iconic set, the Tailleur Bar suit, was shrunk and cropped, while hats and face-covering lace trims were taken from more archival designs. Other standout looks included trapeze dresses and double-breasted overcoats, layered micromini skirts, leather and denim mini skirts, bubble hems, beaded gowns, and lace dresses. Let's take a closer look at some of the pieces.
