Paris Fashion Week, September/October 2025: Louis Vuitton

Paris Fashion Week will run from September 29th to October 7th. It is the culmination of a month-long fashion extravaganza that began in New York, before moving on to London and then Milan. September Fashion Weeks are designers' opportunities to showcase their Spring/Summer collections for the upcoming year. This year's top designers at PFW include Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Balmain, Chanel, and Hermes.

Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière presented the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2026 collection on September 30th in a set of apartments at the Musée du Louvre once occupied by Anne of Austria, Queen of France and mother of Louis XIV. Take a look at the full runway show below.

The collection began with a series of minimalistic stone-coloured outfits, including some floaty, draped, and sheer looks. It then moved on to more maximalist designs, featuring standout pieces such as a white shirt dress with an oversized collar and bubble hem, a crystal-embellished jacket with a peplum and furry collar, a fully beaded and fringed gown, and an off-the-shoulder silk mini dress with crumpled, puffy sleeves and a fur-trimmed neckline. The colour palette ranged from cool, earthy tones to powder blues and bubblegum pinks. Let's take a closer look at some of the pieces from the collection.

Did you like the slouchy, comfortable silhouettes suitable for the home made with more dressed-up fabrics and embellished with fur, crystals, and beads? Did you prefer the more pared-back, minimalist garments or the extravagant maximalist ones? Would you wear any of the pieces?
