Paris Haute Couture Week 2025: Jean Paul Gaultier

Paris' Haute Couture Week took between the 27th and 30th of January 2025. Luxury brands like Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Schiaparelli, Valentino, and Jean Paul Gaultier presented their couture spring/summer 25 collections.

Ludovic de Saint Sernin was the latest guest designer for Jean Paul Gaultier. Presented at 325 Rue Saint-Martin, de Saint Sernin titled his collection 'Le Naufrage' or the shipwreck. Take a look at the full runway show below.

The sea theme was in full force throughout, with wet-look hair, skirts with mermaid-like scales, tulle that resembled crashing waves, gowns that simulated ships' sails tied with ropes, cone-bra adornments formed like ships' steering wheels, and a headpiece shaped like a boat silhouette. The collection also featured Gaultier's signature corsetry and fun campness (for example, a male model wearing just underwear and angel wings). Let's take a closer look at some of the pieces from the show.
