Paris Haute Couture Week, July 2025: Armani Privé

Paris Haute Couture Week takes place twice a year, in January and July, where the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter collections are showcased, respectively. Haute Couture Week represents the height of fashion craftsmanship, where dresses can take hundreds of hours to create and must be made to measure in order to qualify as couture. This year, Haute Couture Week took place from July 7 to 10, featuring collections from fashion powerhouses such as Chanel, Balenciaga, Armani Privé, and Maison Margiela.

Armani Privé's Autumn/Winter 2025 collection was unveiled at the Palazzo Armani on July 8. The theme of the collection was "Seductive Black". Take a look at the full runway show below.

The couture collection was a celebration of the colour black in a range of tones. Giorgio Armani himself sees black as timeless, sophisticated, and elegant. Interest and expression were largely added to the pieces through embellishments, such as pailettes, crystals, floral motifs, and the use of varied fabrics, including rich velvets, jacquard cloth, light-reflecting organza, sensual silks, and feathers. However, there was the occasional pop of peacock blue. Garments included gowns, tuxedos, blazers, bow ties, and slim-fitting trousers, all structured and architectural, with a lean towards the masculine. Let's take a closer look at some of the pieces from the collection.
