Paris Haute Couture Week takes place twice a year, in January and July, where the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter collections are showcased, respectively. Haute Couture Week represents the height of fashion craftsmanship, where dresses can take hundreds of hours to create and must be made to measure in order to qualify as couture. This year, Haute Couture Week took place from July 7 to 10, featuring collections from fashion powerhouses such as Chanel, Balenciaga, Armani Privé, and Maison Margiela.
Chanel's Autumn/Winter 2025 collection was designed by the in-house team before being handed over to new creative director Matthieu Blazy in October. It took place at the Grand Palais on July 8. Take a look at the full runway show below.
The theme of the collection was "wide-open nature". It featured the classic Chanel tweed in various guises, including those adorned with beading and feathers that evoked the look of fur trim, paired with flowing, drapey silk and ombre tulle, as well as numerous floral embellishments, embroidery, and passementerie fringe.
