Let's begin with wishing Hinesh a massive congratulations on his wedding this year! Hinesh and his wife were married on the 12th September 2021 at Bosworth Hall Hotel and Spa in Nuneaton and it looked to be such a wonderful day! We had the pleasure of tailoring and making Hinesh's suit from scratch for the occasion, and it definitely was a wedding suit with a contrast.
The jacket and trousers were matching as both were cut from a navy flannel cloth woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico, already ensured to convey luxury on the big day. The jacket itself was designed with a two-button front in a single-breasted style, completed with a double vent on the back and notch lapels to show a subtle relaxed approach to this wedding ensemble. The two flapped pockets on the front were cut on a slight angle and the welt breast pocket defined through the pocket square on show. Inside, the navy flannel jacket was lined with a lovely blue satin paisley to lift the suit more whilst finished with a gorgeous coffee contrast edge, creating more definition overall.
Even thought the accessories are physically the smallest items styled with a bespoke suit, they play a massive role in its appearance - and Hinesh's was not short of variety! The tie was constructed from the same flannel of the suit and would sit well underneath his semi cutaway collar, lined in blue paisley satin. Of course you can match the tie and pocket square; but as the tie was already matching the suit, it meant more creativity with the pocket square - or pocket squares! Hinesh could choose to wear the matching paisley, a folded white pocket square to match his Egyptian cotton shirt or a check tweed pocket square to match the waistcoat. Each were very different but each would work so strongly on an equal measure.
Now this is where the contrasting element of his bespoke suit would really show and make itself a statement feature: the waistcoat. Cut from John Tailor tweed, this check design was made with notch lapels and a six-button front (3x3 formation) to suit the double-breasted silhouette. The buttons were the same as on the jacket, secured with a contrasting coffee-coloured thread to link itself nicely to the waistcoat itself. Two double jet pockets would also by included and the back cut from the same Vitale Barberis Canonico flannel of the suit. Not only does this create a lovely, cohesive finish to the look, but makes the tweed cloth an even better choice with its blue elements woven throughout. The trousers included standard elements such as belt loops, waistband adjuster, pockets on the front and one on the back, ensuring the centre crease was crisp enough to enhance the sharp silhouette of the suit on a whole.
