The classic suiting colours of black, grey and blue are still popular to wear today for occasion wear; but Shem's custom salmon pink suit is one that brings boldness to bespoke tailoring, and can be a fantastic choice for wedding attire! Take a look at Shem wearing his cool pink suit during his final fitting in our studio, and let's explore the suit in further detail.
Beginning with the jacket, it was cut in a double-breasted form with six gold metallic buttons on the front (three similar buttons also on the cuffs) arranged in a 3x3 style. The peak lapels were a standard width yet finished with a sharp point to mirror the impact of the suit itself. Two rectangular flapped pockets sit just below the waist with the welt chest pocket accessorised with a slightly bolder shade of pink pocket square, echoing the inner lining.
Whilst the colour of the suit was definitely a statement, so too was the modern cut of the jacket. The hemline was asymmetric with one side slightly longer than the other, still finished with sharp corners and an optional belt tie to be worn on the back, if he so chose to wear it. The trousers were a slim cut with centre creases down the front and the hem a decent length, so as not to distract from his trainers. Other details that were included were belt adjusters on the waistband, angled pockets on the side and double jet pockets on the back. With a personal monogrammed message on the jacket's under collar, it was most definitely a bold suit and one that Shem most certainly looked dapper and stylish in!
