The 2023 Earthshot Prize: Attendees' Style - A Hand Tailored Suit

The 2023 Earthshot Prize: Attendees' Style

Established by Prince William and The Royal Foundation, The Earthshot Prize exists to discover and grow innovative solutions to repair and regenerate our planet. This year, five categories of winners were chosen: the Protect and Restore Nature winner, the Clean Our Air Winner, The Revive Our Oceans winner, the Build a Waste-Free World winner, and the Fix Our Climate winner. All of the recipients are companies that are working to combat the global environmental crisis. Prince William himself, celebrities, and nominees attended the award ceremony held in Singapore on the 7th of November. All of them were asked to wear something "pre-loved". Let's take a look at some of the outfits they wore.

Prince William, The Prince of Wales

Founder of the Earthshot Prize, Prince William, led the way with pre-loved clothes for the ceremony, choosing a forest green velvet Alexander McQueen blazer, matching coloured bow tie, and white dress shirt that echoed his crisp pocket square. Prince William had donned this outfit before at the inaugural awards in 2021, and it has been a part of his wardrobe for ten years, according to Kensington Palace. His purpose was not only to look dapper but to remind us that sustainability in fashion can play a significant role in helping to protect the planet.
