On Sunday, 2 February at The Royal Albert Hall in London, The 73rd British Academy of Film and Television Arts (or BAFTAs) Awards ceremony was hosted by Graham Norton. The United Kingdom-based BAFTAs support, develop, and promote art as an independent charity, focusing on film, television, and games. This year was all about promoting sustainability and celebrities were asked either to use sustainable fashion brands, wear vintage, or even re-wear something they already owned.
Let’s take a look at the BAFTAs best-dressed women.
The Duchess of Cambridge
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate wore an old Alexander McQueen white gown with stunning gold embroidery detailing that she wore in 2012 for a state dinner in Malaysia. She had the sleeves altered from flowing sleeves to structured sleeves, made tighter and lined. The bodice is fitted with unique detailing around the sweetheart neckline. She finished the look with shiny gold shoes.
Emilia Clarke
Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke wore a stunning simple skeleton-like beaded Schiaparelli spring 2020 gown with a 90s spaghetti-strap silhouette. Here’s a video of her getting ready with Vogue.
