Share
The arrival of September means the start of this year’s round of film festivals and award shows. The festivities began with the 83rd Venice Film Festival, which runs from September 2 to 12 and features a variety of stars debuting upcoming films. Let’s take a gander at some of the best celebrity looks at the festival so far.
Pamela Anderson
90s icon Pamela Anderson attended the amfAR Gala Venezia on Sunday, September 6, in a custom Calvin Klein Collection orange satin column gown with a matching floor-length shawl. The dress featured delicate spaghetti straps, a straight neckline, and a fitted bodice tailored with darts. She went completely makeup-free and styled her hair in a soft platinum bob reminiscent of Old Hollywood.
Claire Foy
Claire Foy, best known for playing Elizabeth II in 2 seasons of The Crown, attended the Venice Film Festival’s opening ceremony on September 2, in a monochromatic Bottega Veneta creation. The crimson satin column dress featured a sleeveless, A-line silhouette, a scooped neckline, and ruching at the waist that gathered into a knot at the front. She accessorised with elbow-length red leather opera gloves, a diamond collar necklace, and layered ear cuffs.
Amanda Seyfried
The Housemaid star Amanda Seyfried attended the Miu Miu Women’s Tales event at the Venice Film Festival on September 5. She, of course, wore custom Miu Miu, including a sheer, baby-pink slip minidress with crystal spaghetti straps and a flapper-style, crystal-fringed hem. She completed the look with black satin open-toed Miu Miu heels and simple pearl earrings.
Zoey Deutch
Zoey Deutch, recognised for many films, including Zombieland: Double Tap, also attended the Miu Miu Women’s Tales event. She donned a white Miu Miu structured, high-necked, backless minidress decorated with subtle tonal dots. She paired the dress with summery open-toed black high-heeled sandals, a complementary black bag, and sunglasses.
Sydney Sweeney
Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney attended the Armani Beauty Exclusive Dinner at the Venice Film Festival on September 3, in a vintage A/W 2000 gown. The gunmetal grey dress was completely sheer and covered in micro-sequins and tiny beads. It featured a plunging neckline, open back, and a black rosette appliqué on one strap. She finished the outfit with diamond jewellery and nude makeup with winged eyeliner, and styled her hair in loose, silky waves.
