The 43rd BRIT Awards took place on the 11th of February, 2023, at the O2 Arena in London. Hosted by British comedian Mo Gilligan, the ceremony is presented by the British Phonographic Industry to celebrate the best in British and international music. With four nominations each, Harry Styles and Wet Leg were the most nominated artists, with Harry Styles winning in all four categories. Other winners included Beyonce, Becky Hill, and The 1975. Of course, the celebrities were out in force on the red carpet showing off their glamorous attire. Here are some of the outfits that caught our eye.
Ellie Goulding
Singer-songwriter Ellie appeared on the red carpet in a daring outfit. The top was a backless black armour-type breastplate with accurate anatomical detailing held in place with thin black laces. She paired it with black high-waisted flared trousers that accentuated her statuesque figure. She kept her accessories simple, donning silver hoop earrings and a matching bracelet.
Charli XCX
Electropop star Charli XCX arrived at the ceremony in this season's sheer trend. She sported a floor-length, backless see-through dress with a halterneck and glittering monogram print by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Underneath, she wore a white barely-there thong that matched the dress' white ribbon trim.
Jessie J
A pregnant and glowing Jessie J showed off her bump in a coordinating vivid red lace crop top with striking floor-length ruffled tulle sleeves and matching lace leggings. She slicked back her hair and finished the outfit with pointed-toe red stiletto heels and an unusually shaped gold handbag.
Billie Piper
Actress and former singer Billie slayed on the red carpet in a black and pink Roberto Cavalli body suit with statement cream silk leg o' mutton sleeves. She wore her hair in a two-toned swirly updo and accessorised with a black clutch bag and skyscraper Jimmy Choo heels.
Flo
Flo, the girl group winner of the rising star award, attended the awards in coordinating dresses made from the same burgundy fabric and fashioned into different looks to suit each girl's individual style. Each outfit showed plenty of skin and incorporated current style trends such as low-rise waists and cropped tops.
