Share
This year's British Fashion Awards took place on December 1 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The event was hosted by Colman Domingo. Jonathan Anderson took home the Designer of the Year Award, while Sarah Burton won British Womenswear Designer of the Year, and Grace Wales Bonner was awarded British Menswear Designer of the Year. Fashion industry royalty, models, and celebrities turned out in their sartorial best for the event. Let's take a look at some of their outfits.
Anok Yai
Model Anok Yai was awarded Model of the Year at the event. She arrived on the blue carpet in a white and gold Dilara Findikoglu creation featuring a corseted bodice, a mermaid-style skirt, and a train trimmed with lace.
Lily Allen
Singer Lily Allen attended the ceremony in a Victorian Gothic gold Valentino gown. The floor-length dress was embellished with lace across the bodice, draped fabric at the waist, dramatic leg-of-mutton sleeves, and a flowing train. She finished the look with coral bow-embellished, satin slippers, brown diamond earrings, and a matching choker.
Cate Blanchett
Australian actress Cate Blanchett walked the blue carpet in a full-length, off-the-shoulder black blazer dress by Givenchy. The lapels were made of a contrasting shiny satin fabric, and the sleeves ended with large white cuffs. She styled her hair in a side-parted blonde bob and kept her accessories very minimal.
Raye
Popstar Raye performed at the event. She arrived in an off-the-shoulder gown featuring a crystal-covered long-sleeved bodice and a silver satin mermaid-style skirt with draped fabric at the waist. She chose old Hollywood-esque waves for her hair and completed the outfit with Tiffany & Co jewellery.
Sienna Miller
Actress Sienna Miller showed off her baby bump on the blue carpet in a completely sheer white tulle dress by Givenchy. She accessorised with pink slipper-like feather shoes, enormous chandelier earrings and a silver manicure.
